Can I obtain an EMT or Paramedic license taking your courses?
No. Our courses are for EMS professionals who have a license and need continuing education credit for license renewal.
I don't have my license yet. Can I take your courses?
Yes. However, in most cases our courses will not be applicable towards earning your license. Check with your licensing board if you have any questions about this.
Can I take your courses even though I am not a Paramedic or EMT?
Yes. Our courses are available to anyone, including first responders, students, caregivers, healthcare professionals of any designation, and the general public who are interested in the topics we offer.
NOTE: In most cases our courses will NOT be applicable towards earning an EMT or Paramedic license.
Do you report to CE Broker?
Yes. We automatically report the course completions of Florida license holders to the Florida Department of Health via the CE Broker system.
Important Note regarding CE Broker: It's important that you include your license prefix in front of your license number, i.e., EMT123456 (no spaces) in order for your course completion to be processed by CE Broker. If you are unsure of your license number, go to the Florida Department of Health License Verification website. (Clicking this link will open a new/window tab in your web browser.)
How long do your courses take to finish?
EMS courses are designed to take 50 minutes per contact hour to complete. After you have passed the test, registering for your certificate takes about 10 minutes.
